Touchpoint 365 is Almost Here!

03/22/24

By Amy Lou Blunt, EVP and Chief Credit Officer

We have been working for months on creating our online loan origination platform to both reflect our bank culture, as well as make the experience as easy and intuitive as possible. Of course, we partnered with a very established business lending platform, utilizing the most updated technology and full 256-bit encryption to ensure a safe and secure portal for the exchange of sensitive information. But beyond that, we wanted to create a conversational and virtually seamless process from application through financial and collateral review and analysis, and documentation/closing. The more efficient we are, the more responsive we can be to your needs and timelines.

It was a priority that you, our client or prospective client, know you can call us at any time throughout the process. There are certain points in the process that, should your application be somewhat unique (as commercial loans can be), you are encouraged to call us to discuss further, rather than the alternative of being booted out of the platform as “ineligible”. Touchpoint 356 is being launched to enhance our relationship with our borrowers, not replace it.  Your banker will also reach out to you periodically to touch base. And at all times, you can log in and see the status of your application, eliminating the guesswork and potential anxiety.

touch·point (noun) – a point of contact or interaction, especially between a business and its customers or consumers.

“Every touchpoint must reflect, reinforce, and reiterate your core brand strategy” is a quote often attributed to Kevin Lane Keller, a prominent marketing professor.

Just think of it: Your RBAZ banker is visiting you at your office, and the subject of credit comes up (working capital line, equipment financing, a new building). The banker can open their laptop and assist you in starting the application right then and there! Later, you can log into that same application to complete and upload the required documents, and it is already in process! Another scenario: You, the business owner, are up late at night, pacing and thinking through your cash flow needs, outgrowing your existing space, replacing obsolete equipment, or all three! Just hop on the internet, go to the RBAZ website, and begin your application immediately. Voila! Peace of mind and off to catch a few Z’s.

We have completed that portion of the project for the client’s side of the journey, but still have some work to do on the bank’s side for underwriting and processing. Stay tuned – we are hoping to complete testing and platform launch late in the first quarter of 2024.
