As new information about the system conversion unfolds, you’ll find it here. We’ll provide details about the changes we’ll be making, as well as action items and notifications for you to continue enjoying uninterrupted service. To ensure you are prepared, we encourage you to check back to this site to get the latest information.

Our number one priority is to make the conversion as seamless as possible for our customers.

IMPORTANT DATES: MARCH 16 THROUGH MARCH 20

Our system conversion will begin Thursday, March 16, and continue through Sunday, March 19. Republic Bank of Arizona will be open during regular business hours, but some services may be impacted during this time:

  • Bill Pay will be unavailable beginning at 12:01 a.m. Thursday, March 16 until Monday, March 20. This means no bills scheduled to pay between March 16 and March 19 will be processed.
  • Online Banking and Mobile Banking will be unavailable beginning at 4 p.m.Thursday, March 16 until Monday, March 20.
  • E-Statements will not be accessible beginning at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 16. On March 20, your E-statements will be available to you, except for the most recent three months. The most recent E-statements will not be available for several weeks following the conversion. Please download copies of statements you may need before March 16.
  • Special limits for ATM withdrawals, debit card purchases, and Point-of-Sale (PIN) purchases will be unavailable from Thursday, March 16 through Sunday, March 19. Standard limits only will apply during that time.

DEBIT CARDS

As part of the conversion, you will receive a new debit card with a new look and a new number. Your new card will arrive in the mail before the conversion. A document will be enclosed instructing you on how to activate your new card and reset your PIN on or after March 16. Please continue using your existing debit card until that time as your new cards cannot be used on your account until March 16.

You will need to reset your Personal Identification Number (PIN) for your new card. It can be the same number, or you can change it if you choose. You can reset your PIN through online banking, mobile banking, or by calling the number located on the sticker on your new card.

The new debit cards will have new features:

  • Contactless “tap and go” feature
  • Ability to manage debit card services through online banking including turning your card on and off and setting temporary limit increases
  • New security features

Remember to update any auto-pay services you have with your new number and expiration date.

 Your old card will become inactive on March 16, 2023. Please dispose of it appropriately and begin using your new card. If you don’t receive your new debit card by March 16, please call us at 602.280.9400.

ONLINE BANKING & BILL PAY

Online Banking will be upgraded to a more modern platform that is seamless across devices and will include new features and enhancements. The first time you log in you will be guided through the process to set up a new password. 

If you have any bills scheduled to pay from March 16 to March 19, please set them up for payment before March 16. All payments and vendors currently established in the Bill Pay program will be available after our system upgrade.

Online Banking enhancements and updates will include:

  • E-statement enrollment. Current e-statement customers will need to re-enroll to receive e-statements.
  • Debit card self-service tools. You will be able to turn your debit cards on and off and set temporary limit increases.
  • Access to a full week of cash management items including ACH and wires.
  • 12 months of online statements will convert and will be available under the new system. The new system will include 24 months of statement history going forward.
  • Remote Deposit Capture will be available with single sign-on and no longer require a separate login.
  • ACH and positive pay access will be available for cash management users.

Please note, check and deposit images from before the conversion date will no longer be available. Please contact the bank if you need check or deposit images.

The Online Banking URL will change. If you saved the URL outside of the bank’s domain, it will no longer access online banking. You will need to re-establish the new URL in your bookmarks.

MOBILE BANKING

  • Mobile banking will include many of the same changes and enhancements included with online banking.
  • Android users will need to delete the current banking app and download the new app. Apple users do not need to download a new app.
  • ACH and wire transfer services will include a new multifactor authentication (MFA) log-in process. You will be required to enter a user code each time you sign in. This will eliminate the current callback process.

 DEPOSIT ACCOUNTS

Deposit accounts will not be impacted by the conversion.

  • Checking, savings, money market, Time Deposit, and IRA account numbers will not change.
  • Your check numbers and our routing number, 122106170, will not change. Continue to use your existing checks.

STATEMENTS

Please note these important changes regarding statements.

  • Customers will receive two statements in March:
    • One statement will be mailed March 16.
    • A second statement will be mailed on March 31.
  • Statements received following the conversion will have a new look.
  • E-statements will not be available beginning at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 16 until three weeks after conversion, approximately April 10.
    • Please call the bank if you need a copy of a statement during this time.

LOANS

  • Loan account numbers will change. If you use autopay from Bill Pay or a deposit account, you’ll need to update your loan number. If you include your loan account(s) in Quickbooks or another accounting system, you will need to update your loan number.
  • Your loan payment date will not change.

CREDIT CARDS

Credit card numbers will not change. Credit cards will not be affected by the conversion and can be used for purchases during conversion weekend.

 WIRES

Our wire process will change after conversion. Please contact the bank for updated wire instructions.

ATM

Our partnership with the MoneyPass® ATM network will no longer be available following the conversion. This means you will no longer be able to make deposits and withdraw cash at MoneyPass ATMs at no charge. However, the bank will reimburse any ATM surcharges incurred when using a non-RBAZ ATM, up to three per month not to exceed $20. We also recommend using our remote deposit and mobile deposit services.

 CUT-OFF TIMES

Cut-off times will not change.

  • Remote Deposit Capture cut-off times will remain at 6:00 p.m. Arizona time.
  • Mobile deposit cut-off times will remain at 4:00 p.m. Arizona time.
  • Wire cut off time will remain 2:30 Arizona time.
