This philosophy led him to establish Identity Builders, LLC, three years ago with Younger and Hanchett. Their focus is on infill development and re-development, particularly in the heart of Phoenix. “We spend an immense amount of thought looking at layout, spacing, lines, colors, fixtures, and quality. The details matter. A home should be good from the inside out,” Hanson explains.

Erik finds immense satisfaction in the complexity of the building process and the positive impact it has on people’s lives. “Although we are builders, we do this for people,” he says. Hearing from residents who love their homes and seeing the joy it brings them is Hanson’s greatest professional accomplishment. “Homes should be places people enjoy waking up in and coming home to every day,” he adds.
